The Role:
As the Associate Creative Director of the Electronic Arts brand, you'll shape the brand identity and creative narrative of our hero brand as we aspire to lead the future of interactive entertainment. Leading a team of designers, you'll collaborate with internal and external partners to define and elevate EA brand’s creative expression across multiple touchpoints, spanning digital, print, social, events, film, and both internal and external-facing platforms. You will report to the Sr. Director of Design. You will be based in Redwood Shores and hybrid 1-2 days in office.
Responsibilities:
- Shape and evolve the Electronic Arts brand identity and creative across multiple audience touchpoints, from web and print to environmental, social, and video/film assets.
- Lead creative initiatives from concept to execution for a range of enterprise-led activations such as Town Halls, Employee Engagement Campaigns, Investor Day, Impact Report, ERGs, and more. Medium includes print, digital, social, and video/film.
- Present creative concepts and work with senior partners across multiple departments, aligned with our team goals and outcomes.
- Inspire, lead, and direct designers while overseeing daily operations.
- Brief and direct external agencies and vendors, ensuring projects stay on budget and on strategy.
- Partner across Marketing and Communications teams to maintain the EA brand style guide and its ecosystem of sub-brands, ensuring consistency and quality benchmarks in implementation.
- Collaborate with strategists, writers, and the broader franchise creative teams to elevate EA’s creative expression.
Requirements:
- You have 10+ years of branding/design experience as a creative director or design director at a brand or design agency (with some leadership experience).
- Understanding of comprehensive brand strategy, brand architecture, the brand design process, and design trends.
- Track record in creating scalable design systems and activating for global brands in digital, print, experiential, and environmental channels.
- Experience creating brand activation campaigns from vision to completion.
- You will guide creative teams, present concepts and manage expectations from all partners.
- Excellent hands-on design, typography, and layout skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
- Experience with 3D and motion design is a huge plus.
- Experience with video/film principles or techniques.
- Passion for gaming, media and entertainment!
- Online portfolio required.
Education:
BS/BFA in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or Design Direction. Additional related experience.
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $131,600 - $213,300 USD Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time.
