Job description
The Lutheran Care Center in Poughkeepsie has an immediate need for an experienced Per Diem RN MDS Coordinator.
This individual will be responsible to organize, direct and coordinate MDS+ assessments and PRI's in compliance with Federal, State and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern such programs. The ideal incumbent will be highly reliable and detail-oriented. A strong focus on achieving results is a must.
Requirements
An Associate's Degree in Nursing is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of' MDS experience, with an additional 2-5 years experience working in a long term care setting.
Current NYS Nursing license and certification is required.
Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
