The Director of Maintenance will oversee the Dungarvin Minnesota Maintenance Department. This position oversees all physical operations and maintenance work across the organization, using effective and efficient practices to control costs. This person will be responsible for managing and preparing the department's budgets, capital plan recommendations, project completion, as well as, routine maintenance and licensing compliance across program areas. This person will ensure that all expenses are accounted for and that budgets are managed effectively. This person will ensure the MN fleet is managed and accounted for across all program areas. Assure oversight across the department following all hiring, training, and termination of department personnel according to policy.
A bachelor’s degree in related field is required. At least five years of related experience in building maintenance or construction. Three to five years of multi-site management experience, and professional property management designations of Certified Property Manager (CPM) and/or Real Estate License is preferred. At least five years of experience in supervisory positions that combine technical, managerial, and financial expertise required.
This person must have strong leadership, supervisory skills, financial management, and communication skills in addition to extensive knowledge and experience in property management working with outside contractors assuring quality results and authorizing billing for those services ability to evaluate cost effectiveness and preventative measures. Understanding and use of maintenance software and its application. Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, and Teams.
