Job description
An established chocolate brand based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an experienced Comptroller/Bookkeeper to oversee all financial and accounting activities of the company, including budget, forecasts and actual reports. You will uphold vendor relationships through timely bill payments, demonstrating commitment to fiscal responsibility, implement cost-saving measures by establishing virtual assistant (VA) bookkeepers and streamlining processes, allowing focus on broader financial objectives, and collaborate with the CEO to meticulously manage cash flow, ensuring financial stability and growth. Responsibilities:
- Uphold vendor relationships through timely bill payments, demonstrating commitment to fiscal responsibility.
- Implement cost-saving measures by establishing virtual assistant (VA) bookkeepers and streamlining processes, allowing focus on broader financial objectives.
- Collaborate with the CEO to meticulously manage cash flow, ensuring financial stability and growth.
- Develop and maintain financial models, incorporating KPIs and M&A analyses for informed decision-making.
- Enhance financial processes in the UK/EU, optimizing tax payments, VAT, fees, and exploring opportunities for improved accounting practices.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of current pricing to identify errors and areas for efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with key vendors to optimize inventory management and purchasing strategies.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Self-motivated and proactive, consistently demonstrating initiative.
- QuickBooks Online experience required
- Highly responsible, ensuring tasks are initiated and completed with precision.
- Exceptional problem solver with a penchant for innovative thinking.
- Collaborative team player skilled in motivating and strategizing with colleagues.
- Effective delegation, managing and developing team members to enhance organizational efficiency.
- MBA or comparable experience is preferred
- E-commerce experience is a plus
Salary: 75K-100K
Part-time and Full-time availability.
Hybrid and Fully Remote work options available.
