We have an exciting career opportunity for an Audio Visual Technician to join our growing DSI team! As the Audio Visual Technician , you will own this A/V installation process and be a dynamic contributor to our growing Audio Visual team for one of the most successful technology solutions providers in the nation. This role will be based in Ashburn, VA, at our corporate headquarters and will require extensive travel (50%-75%).

Responsibilities - Will travel to client sites and perform all installation, implementation, and troubleshooting of A/V equipment. Travel will be 50%- 75% throughout the year.
- Will install, maintain, and troubleshoot audio-visual systems (which include video conferencing, large displays, control systems, and projectors)
- Build effective working relationships with your internal Contracts & Proposals team members as well as with your direct Supervisor
- Own the Audio / Visual installation and implementation process
- Partner with senior A/V Engineers and Solutions Architects
What You Need for this Role - Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of audio/visual systems
- Experience with video conferencing; displays; video over IP and projectors
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Requires a High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment (50-75lbs) on a daily and consistent basis
- Must be able to climb tall ladders and use the scissor lift in a safe manner
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with computer systems and software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of all safety protocols (climbing ladders using the 3-contact method; proper back lifting
- High level of skill in the use of the English language in terms of speaking and writing fluently
Physical Requirements
- This position requires some standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, and handling, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift 50lbs- 60lbs on a regular and/or occasional basis.
