Job description
We are seeking for a talented Operations and Sustainment Systems Engineer that is passionate about technology and the mission of our customers to join our team! This individual will help to refine new capabilities and plan and track the execution of these capabilities, working closely with the Program Management, Product Management, Architecture, Solution teams and government, to understand, propose, and execute cutting edge capabilities for intelligence systems.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Learning and understanding function and operation of core DevOps pipeline applications, and knowledge and understanding of the cloud platforms on which the software is deployed.
- Assist with system monitoring, advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and taking corrective action as necessary
- As part of our DevOps methodology, all O&S Engineers work very closely with developers and provide feedback on system performance and user satisfaction.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Typically requires bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree relevant experience may be substituted.
- A minimum of 5+ years of work-related experience
- Familiarity with a wide range of platform and cloud technologies as-well-as general system administration skills.
- General understanding of cloud technologies AWS- EC2, S3, Route 53, IAM, CloudFront, CloudWatch, etc
- PaaS – VMware Tanzu, OpenShift, etc
- Linux
- Familiarity with the CI/CD pipeline
- Security+ CE or other IAM level 1 certification
