Position Summary

Concordia University Wisconsin Ann Arbor (CUWAA) invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Philosophy teaching on the Mequon campus. The Philosophy program has a strong emphasis on a dialogue between Christian thought and secular philosophies. It explicitly upholds CUWAA's Mission statement, by helping students develop their minds 'for service to Christ in the church and the world.' More specifically, the Philosophy program fosters deep examination of who we are, what is real, and how we are called to think and act, thereby promoting intellectual development and self-knowledge for the student's personal growth and well-being and providing insights for Christian action in the world

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Education & Experience

A doctorate in Philosophy or Bioethics/Health Care Ethics is preferred. Additional degrees in related areas, such as Apologetics or Theology (MDiv, STM, or equivalent) may be an advantage. Highly qualified applicants making progress toward a doctorate in Philosophy will be considered.

Compensation & Benefits
