Job description
ROLE SYNOPSIS: Join our team as a Process Optimization Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency and innovation within our operations. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing process enhancements, streamlining operations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process Enhancement: Collaborate on enhancing operational processes by employing innovative solutions to address challenges.
- Research and Innovation: Engage in research and innovation initiatives to advance our manufacturing procedures and adapt to changing industry demands.
- Material and Energy Management: Create and manage material and energy balances for evolving processes, working in conjunction with experienced engineers.
- Engineering Design: Participate in the planning and design of equipment layouts and modifications to facilitate the efficient execution of industrial-scale processes.
- Efficiency Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses of operational procedures and equipment to identify opportunities for cost reduction and time savings.
- Process Control Systems: Develop and implement systems to monitor and control the movement, storage, and transformation of materials and energy.
- Measurement and Monitoring: Establish measurement and monitoring systems based on data derived from laboratory testing, pilot projects, and full-scale production.
- Optimal Configuration: Determine the most suitable configuration of unit operations, taking into account process requirements, economic considerations, worker productivity, and safety measures.
- Team Leadership: Assume leadership responsibilities by supervising personnel responsible for operating and managing various machinery and equipment.
- Quality Assurance: Implement stringent quality assurance measures by conducting thorough testing and measurements throughout the production process.
- Environmental Stewardship: Apply engineering principles to develop sustainable solutions for addressing environmental concerns.
Requirements
Possession of a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering is a mandatory prerequisite for this role.
