Role Description
Key Responsibilities:

Actively engage within the business community to forge new relationships while nurturing existing ones with business owners and key stakeholders.
Strategize and execute plans to meet and surpass sales objectives, maintaining a proactive approach in offering financial solutions to both potential and current clients.
Assess and manage commercial loan accounts, ensuring compliance with both our standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor market conditions and competitor activities to recommend strategies that keep our product lines competitive and profitable.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of all commercial products to facilitate effective cross-selling and enhance customer experiences.
Analyze financial statements and pertinent data to make informed decisions regarding credit risks and loan approvals.

Qualifications:

A proven track record in commercial credit underwriting, business development, and portfolio management, particularly with mid-sized developers and investors.
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Commercial Lending is preferred.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are essential for success in building and maintaining client relationships.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a strong motivation to take ownership of tasks.
Effective time management and organizational skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail.
A solid foundation in financial analysis and a sound understanding of banking regulations, compliance standards, and market trends.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business.
5-7 years of related experience in commercial banking, showcasing a blend of education and practical experience.

Technical Proficiencies:

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and modern banking software such as Bankway and Salesforce.
Proficient use of communication tools like Google Mail and LinkedIn for professional networking and communication.
