Job description

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) engineer for the Space and Intelligence System LOB, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for development of FPGAs for advanced communication systems.

• Definition, design, verification and documentation for FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) developments
• Architecture, system simulation and detailed design
• Implementation of telecommuication protocols and sophisticated processing algorithms
  
• Embedded micro-processing systems, FPGA Design and Verification using VHDL, and digital circuit analysis and design
• Implementation of HDL for systems-on-a-chip for FPGAs with or without microcontrollers
• Software Defined Radios (SDR)
• Digital or mixed signal board designs
• Python or similar scripting languages
• C, C++, Java, and/or Java Script

• Proficient with embedded micro-processing systems, FPGA Design and Verification using VHDL, and digital circuit analysis and design

• Creative thinker with high proficiency in technical problem solving and Research & Development experience

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
USD $122,690.40 - USD $136,109.60 /Yr.
