Architect / Project Manager
Our client, based in Ithaca, Albany, and Syracuse, NY, is looking for a highly competent, driven, and team-oriented Architect / Project Manager. The Architectural Project Manager will play an important role in the practice's residential, healthcare, and higher education sectors, and will ideally contribute to business growth, design production, and construction assistance.
Our client is well-known throughout New York State for its high-design aesthetic, which is supported by innovative, functional solutions based on sustainability. The client's portfolio comprises more than 60 years of experience working for college and university campuses, healthcare institutions, and housing customers.

The Architect/Project Manager must have completed an authorized Bachelor of Architecture degree. The candidate must also be proactive in taking ownership of the work assigned, be able to meet deadlines, and have strong visual, written, and verbal communication skills; and possess a strong desire to excel and advance in a fast-paced, challenging, and client-focused environment.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are searching for an ambitious and passionate self-starter. The job entails overseeing projects from conception to end, as well as participating in new company growth.We prefer individuals with at least 10 years of experience. He or she should also be committed to the profession, with a strong self-motivated drive to learn and grow. Understands and contributes to an A/E project team's process and workflow, while adhering to set cost budgets and schedules. Excellent oral, written, and visual communication abilities. Self-motivated ambition to learn and advance professionally, as well as the capacity to multitask and achieve many deadlines at once. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other digital communication and document organizing tools is essential. Experience engaging with various levels of government agencies and municipalities a plus.
