Woodfords Family Services has an opening for a full-time (40 hours per week) Case Manager within our Therapeutic Foster Care Program. This position is highly relational, with emphasis placed on developing and maintaining positive relationships with foster families. For this reason, the TFC Case Manager has a well-balanced and manageable case load.

This position will be based out of our Westbrook location and will require frequent travel in and around Southern & Central Maine.

Position Summary & Duties

Woodfords' Therapeutic Foster Care Program (TFC) provides treatment-level foster care to children 3-21 years with developmental and/or emotional disabilities who cannot reside with their biological family. With the support of trained foster parents and the Woodfords' treatment team, children and teens are offered guidance in navigating psychological, emotional, social, behavioral and learning challenges with the hope and intent for family reunification and life skills growth.

The Case Manager will support the TFC program with the following responsibilities:

• Provides Field Supervision of Foster Families
• Provides regular home visits to meet with family and consumer, both independently and together, to assess quality of services issued.
• Insures compliance with all regulations related to either DHHS oversight and funding.
• Serves as a liaison between family and the differing agencies of oversight and funding, and advises the family and/or the Agency on the appropriate course of action.
• Serves as a liaison with other agencies involved in providing other types of services to the resident (public schools, rehabilitation agencies, consultants, etc.)

Compensation & Schedule

• $43,000 annual salary with opportunity to earn incentive pay!

• Full-time (40 hours weekly) , between 8am-4:30pm, with occasional need to work into the evening.

• Monday through Friday , with rotating on-call schedule requirement.

Qualifications

• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or must be eligible to become licensed. State of Maine licensure required.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• At least (2) years' experience in the field.
• At least (1) year of professional experience working in the field of foster care/foster families.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and have use of a reliable, insured vehicle.
