Job description
We are seeking a professional and customer-service oriented front desk administrator to oversee our office's billing and collections processes. Core responsibilities include:
- Handling all front desk duties including answering a high volume of phone calls, greeting clients in person, processing paperwork, and maintaining office organization/cleanliness
- Managing accounts receivable by sending invoices, tracking payments due, following up on late payments via phone and email, and keeping detailed records of collection activities
- Fielding client questions and complaints regarding billing/payments in a customer-friendly manner and resolving issues
- Coordinating with care providers on patient account statuses and payment plans
- Ensuring compliance with all payment/collection laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Generating regular collections reports to share with management
Requirements:
- 2 years experience in an administrative collections role
- Excellent phone, written, and in-person communication abilities
- Highly organized and comfortable managing a high volume of activity
- Proficiency with billing/collection software and MS Office Suite
- Background in medical billing a plus
