Scope of Position: Support and maintain strategic safety objectives in the plant.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Coordinates Safety Analysis at Vineland to facilitate the prevention of work- related accidental injuries, illnesses and fatalities
- Assesses for and implements measures for compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory standards
- Investigates injuries and close calls; conducts thorough follow up and corrective actions
- Provides guidance and assistance in the implementation of Safety Kaizens, HOP Modules, and daily safety topics
- Supports the management of Gensuite Applications which includes Inspection tool, Incident Reporting, Compliance Calendar, etc.
- Participates and leads HOP Learning teams, and support HOP Operational Learning Initiatives
- Provides technical support with Safety Project Managemen t
- Support site activities required to meet the various Corporate Safety Standards
- Investigate all incidents involving personnel injury or close calls; looking for mechanism of injury and near misses to determine how to completely abate the incidents
- Assist with “Contractor Safety Training” and “New Employee Orientation Training” as needed
- Assist with Employee and Contractor Safety Paperwork (PTSA, etc.) for Safety Projects
- Assist with Gemba Safety Walks
- Perform and Assist with ISO 14001 Internal Audits, as planned per Internal Audit Schedule
- Assist with Audits from external sources as needed
- Lead and Assist with Learning Teams to come up with solutions for possible problems that arise
- Perform any Special Projects as needed per Leadership
Minimum Requirements & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- Strong computer skills, ie. Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
- Strong communication and presentation skills; with ability to convey and obtain consensus on new concepts
- Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement efforts/ Strong interpersonal skills capable of building enthusiasm around continuous improvement
- Demonstrated project and resource management skills
- Demonstrated modeling safe work habits, results oriented
Schedule:
- Work hours are usually 40 hours Mon - Fri
- Must be prepared to adjust shifts and schedule according to project implementation needs; this could include working on all four shifts, straight nights/days, or across shifts

The range for this position is $70,047.00 - $96,315.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
