Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Financial Analyst. In this role, you will play a vital part in various financial activities including data analysis, trend forecasting, modeling, and reporting. By collaborating with different departments, you will help build insightful models that provide a deeper understanding of our business dynamics. Your contributions will be integral to our annual budgeting process, weekly forecasting, and other strategic initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

- Prepare accurate and timely financial analyses, research, and forecasts to assess performance metrics such as rate of return, working capital, and investments.
- Compile and present data through reports, graphs, and charts to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Develop and present business cases to departmental financial leadership, contributing to critical planning processes.
- Participate in special financial studies and collaborate with other departments to identify improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the analysis of alternatives, recommendations, and research from various sources.
- Exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate actions.
- Provide analysis and direction input as part of a team effort, leveraging your expertise to drive strategic financial analysis.
- Review financial analyses, research, and forecasts for accuracy and relevance.

Job Requirements/Education/Knowledge:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- MBA or CPA (in progress or completed) preferred.
- Experience in financial planning & analysis essential.
- Retail industry experience desirable.
- Leadership experience, whether supervisory or mentoring, is a plus.
