Basic Purpose and Scope:
The Maintenance II is responsible for the mechanical maintenance and repair of plant equipment

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- Perform all job duties and operations in a safe manner, while following all federal, state, and Litehouse regulations and policies - Always
- Completes planned maintenance, breakdown repair and condition monitoring activities of plant equipment - 75%
- Provide part and material details to support equipment operation - 15%
- Perform scheduled lubrication on assigned assets - 10%
- May fabricate parts from scratch or prints - Ongoing
- Maintains clean work area and participates in housekeep throughout the facility and grounds - Ongoing
- Utilize blueprints, sketches, machine manuals, and machine components for specifications and repair - Ongoing
- Suggests and implements upgrades to systems - Ongoing
- Communicate with maintenance leadership on all maintenance issues - Ongoing
- Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor - Ongoing
- Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements - Ongoing

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM WORK:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED Strongly Preferred
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in maintenance field. The combination of a formal training program and experience will be considered
- Certifications: None
- Know how to troubleshoot/repair automated equipment including PLC, Servo motor, and VFD
- Ability to multi-task, focus and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to fabricate parts from scratch or prints preferred
- Able to analyze and resolve technical problems or assist others in solving equipment issues
- Must be able to understand and utilize blueprints and other technical publications
- Experience in reading and interpreting ladder logic/schematics a plus
- Ability to use basic math in all units of measure, compute rate, ration, and percent
- Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas professionally, effectively and efficiently in the common language
