20/hr Sanitation Tech Starting ASAP

Job description

Hiring Sanitation Tech in  Northbrook, IL  as soon as possible! This position will be in a manufacturing environment!

Must Have:

• Must have Sanitation experience
• Must have a high school diploma or GED

Pay(PAID WEEKLY) : $20/hr

Shifts:

Monday - Friday and will have to work rotating weekends.

2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm

Description:

-The Custodian’s responsibilities are to keep buildings and grounds clean and safe. The Custodian will work directly with cleaning soaps, waxes and the use of various machines.

• Clean in between machines on the floor
• Meet with Supervisors to see what other duties need to be taken care of

• Sweeps, mops, polishes, and strips floors in rooms and halls.

• Dusts and/or polishes furniture, blinds, and equipment.

• Cleans restrooms and fills dispensers.

• Vacuums, spot cleans, and/or shampoos rugs, carpets, and furniture using commercial-type vacuum cleaners and shampooing equipment.

• Reports malfunction of bathroom fixtures, light fixtures, and/or damages to room and hall furnishings to supervisor/manager

• Stocks area with appropriate supplies, i.e. lunchrooms, bathrooms

• Cleans counters, tables and refrigerators in lunchrooms

• Empties dumpsters (rolling, portable or remove trash to dumpsters outside)

• Cleans drains

• Documents SQF paperwork

• Picks up and delivers intra company mail

• Locks and unlocks doors as directed.

• Initiates work orders for repair/maintenance.

• Moves furniture, equipment, or fixtures as required.

• Washes dishes or utensils as required.

• May shovel and remove snow and ice from designated areas such as sidewalks, entryways, and roofs as required.

• May replace light bulbs.

• Follow GMP, safety guidelines and procedures.

• Back-up the teammate as needed

• Other duties as required.
