Electrical Engineer I (SR-18)

$4,587/month
This is the entry level class in the professional Electrical Engineer series. The position performs routine professional engineering work in the review and analysis of electrical designs, plans and specifications for compliance with provisions of the electrical code and departmental standards; and performs other related duties as required.

Current Vacancy Information:
There is one (1) vacancy with the Department of Transportation Services. This position performs routine engineering work requiring some judgment and experience involving the design, preparation and review of construction plans, project management, conducting operational checks, monitoring and evaluating system operation, and developing timing plans. Assists in reviewing and may recommend approval of trenching permits.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

At the time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.



EDUCATION REQUIREMENT :
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in an engineering specialty.


Education obtained outside of the United States must be comparable to a degree earned at a regionally-accredited college/university in the United States. In order to receive credit for the education, a foreign credential evaluation (FCE) must be provided. We also reserve the right to request further information about your academic program, evidence of comparability, or an original transcript.


Verification Requirement: You must submit evidence of your Bachelor's degree in order to be given credit. Please attach an electronic copy of your diploma and/or official transcript which shows the embossed seal or applicable FCE to your application.
