Job description
Job SummaryMon- Fri 0800-1630ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
1. Performs data entry of updated patient demographics into billing system and other applicable systems.
2. Process patient and insurance credit card payments in payment portal.
3. Monitor and distribute incoming and assigned faxes in a timely and appropriate manner.
4. Sort and distribute incoming mail from USPS and interoffice mail.
5. Meet all Quality Assurance (QA) accuracy and data entry production goals.
6. Communicate effectively and professionally to all customers (internal and external) using key words as appropriate.
7. Maintains confidentiality of patient and client information.
8. Make copies as needed.
9. Participate in department meetings.
10. Responsible for following TriCore safety, personnel, and billing department policies.
11. Must participate in training as requested by Supervisor/Manager.
PREFERRED:
One year in a healthcare setting.
