Job description
Our client in the peninsula is looking for an Accountant to come onboard immediately for 5+ week with a strong possibility of extension. This position pays $35-40/hr.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
● Facilitate the processing of invoices using Microsoft Dynamics 360.
● Reconcile book and inventory reports fpr calendar year
● Support the reconciliation of Fixed Asset purchases
● Ensure that all out-of-state sales in 2023 are accompanied by the necessary documentation, including out-of-state sales certificates, shipping records, and proof of delivery.
● Contribute to weekly checks.
● Assist in the preparation of account reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts.
REQUIREMENTS:
● Possess a Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting.
● Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
● Demonstrate proficiency in Excel and Word.
● Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 360 strongly preferred
● Previous experience in Cost Accounting.
● Prior Accounts Payable (AP) experience.
● Proficient in General Accounting and the preparation of Account Reconciliations.
● Strong attention to detail.
