How will you make an impact?
The remote Service Contract Team provides service contract quotations and supports the field service management team as well as working directly with our external customers.
Building strong relationships with cross-functional business partners is key to success in this position. A successful candidate works to find a balance that is supportive of customer and team member needs. Requires an individual who can work well with high levels of detail and intensity.
What will you do?
- Display expertise in planning and preparing customer quotations within a defined period of current service coverage expiration.
- Lead discussions with management in your assigned region to ensure customer contracts are renewed and the company meets their forecast targets.
- Provides analysis and insight to management into the nuances of each renewal.
- Ensure on-time renewals by proactively sending reminders starting 4 months in advance.
- Supports customer requests with the Contract Administration team for form completion, price certifications, terms and conditions review related to service contracts.
- Accurately processes high volumes of quotes, service contract purchase orders, invoicing, and other contract related customer requests.
- Participates in improvement initiatives to gain efficiencies, supports new product line integration, and team building activities to develop successful teams.
- Maintains accurate master data concerning install base, end-users, and contract entitlements.
- Responsible for cash flow within your region by generating timely invoices and acts as a customer liaison with Accounts Receivable to resolve billing issues.
- Maintains professionalism in working relationships with team, customers, and others within the company.
- Ensure all areas of personal responsibility are handled promptly, accurately, and with outstanding focus on customer service.
- Other duties as assigned.
How will you get here?
Education
- High school diploma is required.
- Typically requires 2-5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, 1-2 years of experience in service contract management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Ability to efficiently learn software including ERP, CRM, Excel, and Adobe.
- Strong professional written and oral communication skills with collaborative/integrative style of working to reach common goals and objectives.
- Requires outstanding problem solving, follow-through, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Possess critical soft skills including self-motivation, the ability to multi-task, and remain composed at all times.
- Flexibility and availability to meet with global colleagues and internal/external customers outside of standard business hours.
