A bit about us:
We are an outgoing family of 3 looking for an awesome nanny to travel with us 6-9 times a year, for around 4 days at a time to provide care for our 20-month-old son. We are very family-focused and most of our trips are to see Dad’s family over the US. In the summer we love to go to our cabin and enjoy the lake. We love to golf and you can often find us at the golf course when the weather permits! Dad works for the family business and Mom works part-time as a nurse. We value our time together and look forward to having a nanny who can join us!
A bit about you:
You are outgoing, personable, and adventurous! Our son loves to be outside, and often will go to the door and ask to go out! You are creative and can plan things to do with him when you are in a new location and find fun activities to do together. You are flexible and can make adjustments as needed to the daily travel schedule. You are reliable and discrete. If you have experience in Early Childhood Education, Health Care, PCA or CNA, even better! Up to date on vaccinations is not required but preferred. We do need you to have a valid passport, as sometimes our travel will bring us out of the country.
Job Duties:
We are needing an extra set of hands while we are traveling. Sometimes it is for a business trip and Mom and Dad are in meetings all day, and sometimes it's jumping in the evenings and keeping things moving smoothly. Generally, we travel around 6-9 times a year and around 4 days or so at a time. We will give you 2-3 months' notice on when we will be traveling, so you can plan accordingly. While the days can vary, generally you will be working 8-10 hours each day. Sometimes there are other nannies there as well, so you can work together and plan an activity for all of the children to do together. While driving is not required, you may be asked to bring him to an activity from time to time, so you would need to be comfortable doing so.
Position Highlights: Daily rate, plus all expenses paid (hotel room, airfare, meals etc) Can also provide free time to the nanny to explore and go off on their own.
Qualifications: Organized, outgoing, reliable, outgoing and descrete. 2+ years childcare experience.
Set yourself apart: have a background in early childhood, or health care!
Schedule: 6-9 trips a year, 4 days at a time, 8-10 hour days. With 2-3 months notice of travel schedule.
