Overview

Title: Mid-Level Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Mid-Level Provider to join our busy primary care clinic. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients across the lifespan.
2. Provide evidence-based primary care services, including but not limited to physical examinations, chronic disease management, acute care, and health promotion.
3. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures within the scope of practice.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care, ensure continuity of care, and facilitate referrals to specialists when necessary.
5. Educate patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
6. Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record system.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and professional development activities to enhance clinical practice and promote positive patient outcomes.
8. Adhere to legal and ethical standards of practice, maintain licensure and certification requirements, and uphold clinic policies and procedures.

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:

This position is a designated as "Safety Sensitive Position" under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.


Qualifications

Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA) from an accredited program.
2. Current unrestricted license to practice as an NP or PA in the state of employment.
3. Board certification as an NP or PA in primary care specialty preferred.
4. Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in primary care or a related setting.
5. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and critical thinking


Other education and experience may be substituted (if applicable) for the required minimum job qualifications with the approval of the Corporate Director of Human Resources.
