Job description
Role : Payroll Analyst
Location : Camden, NJ
Pay : $34 - $38 / hour
Responsibilities:
- Provides operational, administrative, technical and analytical support necessary to process bi-weekly payroll
- Process P/R Corrections
- Notifies the timekeeper of any discrepancies
- Processes additional payments
- Verifies that the payments are properly authorized and charged to the appropriate cost center
- Receives and resolves cost center questions concerning payroll
- Maintains employee database by entering payroll deductions, manual checks, direct deposits, W-4 changes and voids
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of payroll & taxes
- Proficiency in Lawson and Kronos
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles in relation to payroll/tax administration
- Proficiency in Excel
