Job description
100 Bed Assisted Living Community is looking for an RN Director of Nursing to lead their team to success!
Job responsibilities will include:
- Lead and direct a team of caring professionals to ensure quality care and customer service at all times
- Communicate effectively with residents and their families
- Ensure the Department is in compliance with DOH regulations at all times
- Oversee the assessment and admission process for the facility
- Manage and maintain the EHR and EMR system
- Interface with providers, managers, physicians, and care staff on care needs and changes of resident needs.
- Ensure care plans, RASP, and DME are accurate and up to date at all times.
- Participate in hiring, progressive discipline, and terminations for the department as needed
- Work with human resources to ensure proper orientation and training for the department
- Oversee the medication administration program and delegation to CMAs on an ongoing basis per state guidelines
- Conduct monthly inservices and department all staff meetings
We are looking for someone to take ownership and responsibility for the department to ensure that excellent care is provided to our residents 24/7
MUST hold a current RN license in the state of PA and have experience in PCH or Assisted Living
