Job description

In-Home Physical Therapist Assistant (Per Diem):
@Home Therapy is a leading rehabilitation service provider of PT, OT, and SLP services for adults living at home. Contracting with @Home Therapy as a provider enables you to work in the area that you choose and on your own hours without the risk of burnout or needing to report to a supervisor. @Home Therapy offers EMR training and orientation to new Physical Therapist Assistants as well as ongoing clinical and administrative support.

We seek a Physical Therapist Assistant with the following qualifications:

• A valid PTA License and Registration in New York are required.
• Experience in adult Physical Therapy is required.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Familiarity with EMR software is a plus.
• Homecare Experience a plus.

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant include:

• Communicate with the office staff regarding your patients.
• Schedule your Physical therapy treatment visits directly with your patients.
• Treat patients according to the patient's plan of care and prior and current functionality.
• Document your visits in the web-based EMR in accordance with Medicare's guidelines.
• Maintain active credentials and perform all visits within HIPAA and company compliance.
