Maintenance Supervisor

8 -15 yrs as a supervisor in a manufacturing maintenance environment. Technical Degrees/Certifications strongly preferred. Experience in planning maintenance operations.

Prepare work schedules, assign work/oversee the work (while minimizing overtime/call-in hours). Coach, counsel, manage performance of direct reports. Develop/maintain Preventive Maintenance Schedule program for applicable equipment, machinery, forklifts, shipping vehicles, etc. Arrange for/manage appropriate third-party contractor support, as needed. Lead problem solving to correct operational issues. maintain OSHA regulations Maintains inventory Provide team leadership

Maintenance Supervisor Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $30.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Third Shift (Sunday through Friday from 05:00pm to 06:00am)

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities occurring on night shift, helping to ensure all equipment is properly maintained/operational. The ideal candidate will have good leadership skills, be detail-oriented/have experience in a maintenance supervisory role. Other duties, as assigned.

Maintenance Supervisor Qualifications:

Experience maintaining/repairing automated equipment, welding machines, overhead cranes, rollformers, etc. Exp in fabrication industry. manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish/achieve goals. Logical/abstract thinking. Solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical control, PLC & HMI (Allen Bradley) programming, CNC systems, Servos systems, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, HVAC, plumbing, industrial electricity, etc. Strong knowledge of working with NEC, IEC codes. Strong experience in safety, inspection, and maintenance on overhead cranes. Knowledge of 5’S, Poke-yoke programs. Knowledge hooks and chain inspections per OSHA. Basic machining concepts (leather, mill, surface grinding, boring mill). Computer skills in word processor, spread sheet/presentations. accredited mgmt training program a plus. Proven exp working w/maintenance software.
