Job description
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Iowa State University seeks a Postdoc Research Associate to be actively involved in projects on optimization, data analytics, and control in power distribution systems. The selected candidate will work closely with researchers from national labs and engineers from utility companies to address practical problems in distribution grid modeling, operation and resilience.

Doctoral degree
Â
⢠PhD in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a closely related field.
⢠Experience in power distribution systems, optimization, data analytics or control.
⢠Experience on projects that demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
⢠Prior contribution to preparation of scholarly research (i.e., papers and talks) for prestigious journals and international conferences.
