The mission of the Wireless Power Technology team is to create the world’s best Wireless Charging user-experience by inventing innovative technologies. We develop effortless and safe Wireless Charging designs that are central to Apple’s products - the iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and AirPods!
We are looking for a system integration engineer that leads the integration of the inductive technology into products in partnership with multiple disciplinary teams, including, but not limited to, architecture, FW, system EE, silicon, noise and vibration, safety, thermal, reliability, operations, regulatory teams and more.

Key Qualifications
- Solid EE fundamentals in both analog and digital design and comfortable with tackling new challenges with critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Hands-on experience and proven track record in system definition, integration, prototyping and validation preferred
- Experience in scripting languages, such as Python, is a plus
- Proficient in modeling, data collection, data analysis, and statistical analysis tools (e.g. Python, JMP, MATLAB).
- Experience in high-volume products from concept to end, and working with contract manufacturers is a plus
- Team player, great communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams to make the design tradeoff based on the information available in a timely manner
- System-level simulation (Cadence, MATLAB, PSpice)
Description
You will be developing and designing wireless power systems and be expected to meet a high standard for analysis and manufacturing discipline, and work with cross-functional teams to pass all specifications and requirements necessary to ship a product. You will also be responsible for:
• Schematic and PCB layout review
• Define factory tests, test limits, and work with the factory and peers to perform failure analysis and corrective actions
• Write requirements, specifications, and test plans for both hardware and FW
• Guide the team in the development of necessary algorithms, state-transition diagrams/flowcharts and analysis for each regime of operation
• Up to 10% travel required
Education & Experience
BS and minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
