Contracts and Grants Analyst Location Raleigh, NC (Central area) :

The City of Raleigh is seeking a motivated, experienced, and passionate professional to join the Business Management Division of the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department (PRCR). The Contracts and Grants Analyst performs a variety of contract, financial, accounting, grant and business process work for the department. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and leadership skills, successfully builds relationships, collaborates, and displays creative problem-solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Typical Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or public administration and two years of professional finance, budget analysis or accounting experience. OR An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of: Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word; business intelligence software, and accounting software. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

ADA and Other Requirements: Positions in this class typically require: standing, walking, fingering, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work, and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light work.
