Job description
Toddler Teacher Assistant for ages 6 weeks up to before and aftercare elementary school. Full-time 6:30 am to 6:00 pm split shift available now.
Qualifications:
- Pass a Level II background screening.
- Must work same hours Mon. thru Fri.
- Training is required but can start without it completed (45 hours of state-mandated training done within one year).
- Have a completed physical or a negative TB test completed upon starting (every 2 years).
- CPR and 1st aid certification completed within 90 days of employment and keep up to date.
- Be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
- Stay positive.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work the same schedule hours every day (Monday-Friday) and be reliable.
- Be able to move around the majority of the day.
- Perform all activities with children such as jumping, dancing, walking, and running.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to children's needs.
- Be able to sit on the floor with the children with the agility to change position quickly.
- Be flexible and willing to work as a team.
