Our client has an immediate opportunity for a Controller . An ideal candidate would have excellent management skills and very strong accounting technical skills.

The Controller / Office Manager is a central part of the senior management team. Main responsibilities are not only leading the Finance & Administration team of 3 employees, overseeing the regular tasks, setting of policies/ procedures and performing daily Finance tasks, but being a main contact of all tasks not being directly related with sales and service operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures and review paperwork.
• Oversee month-end close.
• Prepare Financial Statements and IC Financial Statements
• Monitor inventories.

• Cash management and transfers
• Cash Flow Report
• Account reconciliation

• Main contact for tax topics and Tax CPA
• Sales and Corporate Income Tax: Prepare monthly/quarterly reports.
• Corporate Income tax reports for Tax CPA

• Monitor receivables and payables.
• Assist with Annual Budget
• Administration of Employee Benefit Programs

• Payroll: Oversee all payroll related functions

General Tasks

• General Office Management
• Insurance: Review and coordinate insurances, Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, etc.
• Administration/Cost Control of travel policies
• Employee Expense reports

Requirements:

• 8 plus years of experience in Finance and Accounting
• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred
• Strategic thinker; great presentation skills
• CPA
