Job description
Audit Senior
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Audit Senior. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing client engagements for our firm, providing assurance services in accordance with established professional standards. They will also be expected to develop new business, mentor junior staff, and work closely with management to ensure the efficient and timely completion of client engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing client engagements from start to finish including planning, field work, and report writing
- Collaborating with clients to understand their business needs and assess their internal control systems
- Identifying and resolving audit issues in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements
- Analyzing and summarizing financial statement data
- Developing audit plans and recommending corrective action plans
- Conducting audit fieldwork in various industries including construction, real estate, manufacturing, and technology
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- CPA is required
- At least 2+ years of public accounting experience in audit and assurance services
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement compliance
