Position Summary: Are you ready to jump on a rocket ship? Ambu has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our high performing and customer obsessed team. This is a hybrid role based in our US HQ in Columbia, MD.
Reporting into the Senior Director HR, US and Canada, you will have full ownership of the end-to-end Talent Acquisition activities for our US and Canadian teams. Working closely with your HR Business Partner colleagues, you will partner with your clients across the business identify their needs, create an effective sourcing strategy including passive candidate outreach, and support the interview and selection process through to the offer stage.
This role is ideal for a proactive self-starter who has a demonstrated track record of success ensuring our HR organization is delivering flawlessly and impactfully in support of our business. While there is a preference for this role to be based in our US office in Columbia, MD, this role will support a national workforce, so consideration will also be given to remote talent.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Acting as a Recruitment Business Partner within your geographical focus, you will collaborate with hiring managers and HRBPs to understand staffing needs, anticipate future requirements, and develop comprehensive recruitment plans aligned with organizational goals. identifying hiring needs, reaching out to candidates, supporting during interviews and at offer stage.
- Using creative, multi-channel sourcing strategies to approach the right candidates for Ambu proactively by utilizing a variety of sourcing methods, including online channels, social media, networking events, and referrals to identify and engage top talent.
- Maintaining a proactive approach to talent pipelining for current and future hiring needs.
- Scheduling and coordinating virtual and onsite interviews as needed.
- Recommending, implementing, and deploying efficient business processes that will enhance and support the recruiting lifecycle with a focus on ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Leading intake meetings, candidate sourcing, and hiring manager interviews.
- Conducting thorough candidate assessments, including resume reviews, phone screens, and interviews, to evaluate qualifications, skills, and cultural alignment, providing timely feedback and guidance to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Facilitating effective communication and collaboration between hiring managers, HRBPs, and other stakeholders involved in the recruitment process.
- Providing guidance and support to hiring managers on best practices for candidate evaluation and selection.
- Developing and tracking recruitment metrics and analyzing data to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Owning longer term culture programs related to Employer Branding, Recruitment Marketing, Talent Pipelining, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging.
Qualifications, Skills, and Education:
Skills and experiences can be earned in many ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have some or all of the following:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Talent Acquisition role as a high performing member of an internal TA team or high-volume agency.
- Strong active sourcing experience and a proactive nature to filling positions as efficiently as possible, without compromising on quality.
- A track record of success in a Commercial organization with a primary focus on attracting top Sales and Marketing talent.
- Previous experience in a strongly regulated industry would be an advantage. MedTech, Healthcare, or Life Sciences experience is highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Comfort working in ambiguity
