Quality Assurance Lead (Must be based in USA)

As part of this evolution, RSAC seeks a Quality Assurance Lead responsible for designing, building, and executing quality assurance processes in support of new applications and services that RSAC is bringing to market. They will develop a quality assurance program that incorporates integration and functional testing that leverages automation wherever possible. The QA Lead will be highly integrated with the software development team to define, scope, plan, and release new features. The QA Lead will also work with third party vendors to coordinate compliance review and security testing. As we grow, the QA Lead will help hire QA professionals to build out the team and set the standards that we hold ourselves to.
In this role you will:
Develop Test Plans Based on User Stories and Specifications: As an experienced quality assurance professional, you will evaluate technical documentation to identify functionality that needs to be tested and develop strategies for efficient testing.
Select and Implement Testing Frameworks, Systems, and Mechanisms : You will select the appropriate testing tools and incorporate them into the software development lifecycle. You will build processes and workflows to efficiently document and track defects.
Manage a Security Testing Program : You will work with 3rd party vendors to define and execute security testing and manage the triage and resolution of findings. You will also manage and triage the resolution of submissions from our bug bounty program, which will allow customers to report security vulnerabilities.
Support Project Planning and Scheduling: Collaborating closely with the project manager, you will incorporate QA efforts into project plans and schedules. Your insights and technical expertise are invaluable in creating realistic timelines and resource allocations. By providing support in project planning, you contribute to the efficient execution of tasks and the successful completion of projects within established deadlines.
Reporting: You will define categories and severities of defects and report on metrics that evaluate software production quality and release readiness.
Participate in End-to-End Development Activities : Engaging in the entire software development lifecycle, you participate in diverse activities ranging from design reviews, CI/CD configuration, testing, and support.
Adapting and Enforcing Appropriate Development Methodologies: A key aspect of your role involves selecting, adapting, and applying development methodologies tailored to the specific needs of the business. You play a crucial role in enforcing these methodologies, ensuring that the development team adheres to best practices, enhancing the quality and reliability of the software produced. Your ability to adapt methodologies to the unique context of each project is instrumental in achieving successful outcomes.
Your profile:Bachelor's degree in computer engineering/computer science or Related Field
Excellent Written Communication Skills: Effective written communication skills are paramount in the realm of software development. You excel in articulating complex technical concepts clearly and concisely. You write clear test cases and bug reports.
Strong Organizational and Leadership Skills : Your strong organizational and skills enable you to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines without compromising the quality of work. Furthermore, your leadership abilities shine through in guiding and inspiring team members.
Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Armed with strong analytical prowess, you excel in dissecting complex problems, identifying key issues, and formulating effective solutions.
Proven Experience in Automated Test Configuration: You are proficient in current test frameworks for mobile applications, web applications, and APIs and you have experience setting up automated testing workflows.
Proven Experience in Software Development Methodologies: With a wealth of experience in software development methodologies, you possess a deep understanding of structured approaches to software engineering. Whether you follow Agile, Scrum, or other methodologies, your familiarity ensures that projects progress smoothly.
