• Job Description

This business-critical position is to provide strategic and tactical leadership of sourcing various OEM, raw materials, plastics and chemicals across the OpCo. The individual will develop and implement sourcing strategies that are aligned with business needs for quality, delivery, cost, growth and risk management. Additionally, the successful candidate will monitor market conditions to drive favorable sourcing, understand trends to identify and solve potential supply chain problems, and continually seek new opportunities for innovation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for various OEM and Raw Materials including Chemicals and Plastics.

• Achieve world-class results in Quality, Delivery, and Cost

• Drive ongoing supplier optimization and continuous improvement. Includes Buyers.

• Develop, integrate and manage preferred suppliers to meet global requirements through systematic performance ratings and *** Supply Base Management tools

• Develop and implement "best-in-class" supply chain processes and procedures

• Leverages *** supply base to achieve targets

• Negotiates agreements to mitigate supply chain risk and ensure adherence to all key metrics

• Leading workshops and kaizens associated with Sourced products

• Utilize *** Procurement sourcing tools & processes

• Provide coaching, mentoring and support to commodity and procurement team members

• Participate in teams led by corporate commodity leaders, as appropriate

• Champion Commodity Team initiatives throughout OpCo

• Leads Procurement effort for new product development (NPD)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree preferred. Advanced business degree (e.g., MBA, MS) beneficial

• 3 to 5 years overall business experience in manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, logistics, supply chain, or procurement roles

• Demonstration of continuing education in sourcing and supply chain

Additional Job Details:

ONSITE position is preferred, but the hiring manager is open to a HYBRID role with 3 days onsite. Occasional overtime may be needed. TOP QUALIFICATIONS: Strong Financial & Business acumen. Commodity Management experience leveraging market analysis and knowledge of commodity pricing for raw materials. Strong communication.
