Job Description

The City of Pueblo wants to hire you as Housing and Community Development Coordinator II This full-time position offers you a variety of benefits that provide a great work/life balance, a rewarding work environment, and a competitive annual salary of $57,654.60 - $72,472.56! As Housing and Community Development Coordinator II, you will perform a variety of duties related to housing services, including, but not limited to rehabilitation and new construction, environmental and historical clearance. You will also provide direct client services and perform duties related to the identification and property information of vacant lots within the City of Pueblo to determine availability for City housing programs. In addition to the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed above, this position requires the following:

• A valid driver’s license at the time of application, and a valid Colorado driver’s license within 30 days of employment
  • License restrictions that may hinder your ability to drive on City business, such as an interlock, will be cause for disqualification 
  • During the course of employment, a valid license must be maintained, and the employee must notify the City immediately upon changes to the status of their license

Additionally, candidates must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:

• An associate degree from an accredited college or university 
• Two (2) years of experience in construction management, building inspection, real estate development/redevelopment, property management, or federal grant programs including federal grant reporting or management. 

Or

• A high school diploma or GED 
• Four (4) years of experience in construction management, building inspection, real estate development/redevelopment, property management, or federal grant programs including federal grant reporting or management.
