We're hiring an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer Intern to join our team at the Marvin Composites plant, also known as Tecton Products. At Marvin Composites we manufacture composite fiberglass window frame materials.

As an EHS Engineer Intern, we'll support your goals with hands-on experience in equipment design, environmental compliance, occupational health and safety, and an understanding of our unique manufacturing process. Dive into projects focused on OSHA compliance, Emergency Preparedness Initiatives, and Safety Facility Inspections. You'll also use your strong communication skills to cultivate effective collaboration with a diverse group of teams, making significant contributions to our EHS team.

This is a paid internship to work closely with our EHS team. Expect a full-time commitment during the summer and flexible part-time options throughout the school year.

Highlights of your role:

• Contribute to designing and implementing facility equipment modifications for improved safety
• Management of safety projects, improving processes and procedures for a safer workplace
• Innovate creative solutions to existing manufacturing processes and equipment to improve safety performance
• Participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety activities while gaining experience with Creo

You’re a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Proficiency in Creo Parametric
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

We also want to make sure you have:

• Junior or Senior status working toward a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
