Job description

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience with several of these technologies with strong preference given for experience in MS Azure IaaS, Citrix engineering and management, automation, desktop virtualization, and experience implementing MS Modern Device Management technologies and processes.

Engineer Client Infrastructure technology:

• Perform as a member of an agile team work independently on assigned tasks\stories.
• Lead or execute the engineering and implementation of system upgrades, patches or enhancements.
• Lead or perform technical proofs-of-concept, pilots and validations.
• Perform research, develop requirements, and create cost-benefit-analysis justifications and recommendations.
• Plan future state for new or enhanced technologies

Support Client Infrastructure technology:

• Respond to and resolve escalated incidents and problems.
• Ensure availability, performance and capacity meet service level objectives.
• On a rotational basis, provide off-hour support for critical issues.
• Develop, automate, and continually improve processes.

Years of experience needed

v 4+ years experience with Citrix and other desktop/application virtualization technologies

v Advanced knowledge of Windows client operating systems and Microsoft enterprise client management ecosystem (SCCM, Group Policy, Intune, etc.).

v Working knowledge of other infrastructure components that make up a working interconnected network, for example but not limited to Networks, Firewalls, servers, storage.

v Solid analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.

v Strong verbal and written communication.

v Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills, demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities, and results oriented to deliver in a fast-paced service environment.
