General Description:
First Security Company, Inc., is looking for a talented and motivated professional to join our team as Commercial Insurance Marketing Executive. This position will be responsible for managing the entire insurance marketing process for new and renewal business, maintaining our high client retention and client service standards, and adding value to the sales process.
First Security Company has had the privilege of serving the insurance needs of the western NC area since 1919. We are a local independent agency dedicated to the growth and development of our organization and the success of our clients. Our headquarters is located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina in Downtown Hickory.
Responsibilities:
- Manage marketing process and prepare marketing submissions for new and renewal business
- Analyze client needs, coverage forms, policies and quotes to identify exposures and recommend solutions
- Prepare new and renewal business proposals in coordination with producers
- Maintain account data within agency management system
- Prepare binders of insurance, policies, endorsements, certificates of insurance
- Generate new ideas to reach our goal of continuous improvement
- Create Reports and providing analysis to management team
- Provide commercial team with market intelligence, technical advice, and coverage analysis
- Develop and maintain relationships with carrier representatives, fellow employees, and clients
Requirements:
College degree preferred, not required
NC Property and Casualty Producer License
3+ Years of Commercial Insurance Marketing Experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Knowledge and experience with Applied Epic agency management system
Industry designations (CPCU, CISR, CIC) strongly preferred
