Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Accountant participates in general accounting functions including developing account reconciliations, journal entries, data compilation and analyses ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Responsible for assigned areas such as Fixed Assets, AP and administrative accruals including property management and payroll, in addition to collaboration with, other departments to ensure member needs are met while simultaneously building strong peer relationships.

Education & Experience

• Three (3) or more years of accounting experience that would have developed the knowledge and abilities listed, including experience assisting with financial audits. Experience working with a large ERP.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance or a related field from an accredited institution required.

 

Key Qualifications

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and procedures required. Understand and interpret policies, procedures, and regulations. Principles and methods of planning, managing and maintaining an automated accounting system.
• Intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Office applications.
