Must Have 3 Years of LUXURY BEAUTY Experience.
$165K - $180K Plus Bonus and Benefits.
Working Onsite 5 Days A Week.
Well-known fragrance, skincare, and cosmetics privately owned Manhattan-based company is seeking a Director of Operations.
Mission :
We are seeking a seasoned Director of Operations to join our dynamic team and lead the operational aspects of our fragrance manufacturing and supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations management, supply chain optimization, and process improvement within the fragrance or related industries.
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the fragrance manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Supply Chain Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the end-to-end supply chain, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products to clients.
- Ensure inventory levels are maintained to meet production demands while minimizing waste and carrying costs.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain robust quality control measures throughout the production process to uphold the highest standards of fragrance quality.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to implement and maintain quality management systems.
Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and mentor team members, promoting professional growth and skill development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant business experience within Manufacturing or Supply Chain.
- Proven experience in operations management within the fragrance industry or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.
- Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Ability to synthesize information and create a clear synopsis of key issues.
- Possess well-developed communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to be able to build strong work relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in fragrance manufacturing.
- Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and work independently.
