Intuit is a global technology platform that helps consumers and small businesses overcome their most important financial challenges. Serving more than 100 million customers worldwide with TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
People who work for themselves fuel our global economy. In the US, small businesses employ 60% of the workforce and create 80% of new jobs; internationally the stats are even larger. But the odds are stacked against them. One of two fails in the first five years, two of three before they can turn ten.
Intuit’s Small Business and Self-Employed Group (SBSEG) is devoted to creating tools and services that power prosperity around the world, providing key offerings to help small and medium businesses manage their cash flow, reach new customers, and manage their teams.
As we accelerate our mission, we are seeking an exceptional Senior Marketing Manager (SMM) who thrives on challenging the status quo and delivering awesome end to end experiences to drive new customer growth. As part of the QuickBooks Acquisition Marketing team, this SMM will lead complex campaigns and initiatives, rallying the extended organization on a shared goal, driving cross channel strategies, and ensuring integrated execution.
If you are passionate about delivering transformative change for SMBs and thrive working in a fast-paced matrixed environment, come join our team!
7+ years working and innovating to drive customer growth through marketing.
Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills in a cross-functional team setting, including extended teams and leaders that are not direct reports. Skilled at aligning the organization around a focused strategy and plan for execution; can break projects into discrete steps and focus others on what is most important. Highly self-motivated, able to manage multiple work streams independently.
High degree of understanding across functions to closely collaborate with go-to-market (GTM)/product marketing, acquisition channels (paid, earned, owned, and shared), analytics, finance, design, market research, and agency partners and leaders in both strategic and tactical discussions. Able to digest and communicate business strategies across functions, build comprehensive marketing plans with measurable outcomes, execute against timelines with budgets, and able to summarize performance of campaigns at strategic level with channel level KPIs.
Clear and compelling storytelling abilities (written and verbal); able to make the complex simple and convince peers and executives to take action; able to analyze data trends, go-to-market strategies, channel opportunities and performance, and quickly synthesize information and distill into clear, concise recommendations.
Track record of leading complex marketing initiatives and developing impactful campaigns for consumers or small businesses that have driven significant customer growth.
Shape complex business opportunities into thoughtful strategies, unlocking relevant channels to drive customer growth.
Lead large, cross-functional teams and agencies to plan, execute, and measure integrated marketing and communications efforts across paid, earned, owned, and shared channels.
Provide thought leadership to cross-functional partners including acquisition channels (paid, earned, owned, and shared media) and GTM/product marketing counterparts to influence GTM priorities and business strategies.
Communicate frequently across the organization to ensure alignment and integration across functions.
Build and maintain positive relationships between sometimes vastly different departments with competing priorities.
Use storytelling principles to deliver communications that drive impact and influence across the organization including leadership, peers, and junior team members.
Display proficiency at writing and organizing high-impact business communications to drive speed, engagement, clarity, and action.
Drive data-backed decisions and push for data to trump opinion across teams.
Contribute to creation of weekly performance narrative, deep dives, and business forecasting.
