Location- Bethesda, MD (Hybrid)

Position Description:

LCG is seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist to join our growing marketing team in the DC area. While the position is remote, candidates should reside in the DC area to join staff for infrequent in-person meetings. The Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist reports to the Director, Marketing & Communications and performs the following tasks.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

· The focus will be on organic social engagement with a range of responsibilities aimed at building brand awareness, fostering our LCG community engagement and driving organic growth through our social media channels.

· This role helps proactively support the branding of LCG across industry.

· Support branding by ensuring the web presence remains fresh working with the CTO/DETC shop, edit and publish case studies/white papers, social media, support marketing artifacts and tier sheets, briefing decks, imaging at events, sponsorships, and helps review data collected using marketing analytics tools to help LCG understand the return on the marketing investments.

· This role will independently analyze qualitative data, identify trends, assess strategies, and evaluate competition, with the goal of enhancing competitiveness and increasing experience value across all lines of business.

· Required collaboration will include an ability to work closely with the wider communications and marketing team, content creators, events teams, and other relevant departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach.

· Responsibilities include gathering and interpreting market research data, generating reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

· Reports and presents findings to campaign and business stakeholders.

· Analyze the performance of marketing efforts at tactic, channel, audience and segment level to optimize performance.

· Coordinate with media partners/press.

· Coordinate and/or support other special projects such as conferences, open houses, industry functions, and client events.

· Gather data to formulate and execute methods of brand maintenance across the wide variety of social media platforms.

· Finding creative ways of using social media to engage the target audience, increasing LCG brand visibility.

 

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Advertising is a plus.

· 2-4 years of experience in any related field.

·  Skills: Social Media Data Analytics, Channel Engagement, Communications, Social Media Strategy, Platform experience with sprout solution, Hootsuite, sprinkler, or Meltwater; Graphic design with Adobe Acrobat or Canvas preferred; Social Media engagement via Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter (X), Nextdoor Neighbor, etc.

· Experience: Experience analyzing reports and interpreting data. Experience using Power Platforms a plus. Experience multi-tasking. PC proficiency to include Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint. Experience in GovCon industry a plus. Ability to meet deadlines.
