Note : You Must be from Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Coralville, Marion, Hiawatha, IA, and the surrounding areas. No relocation!
Our client out of Iowa City, IA is looking for a Dental Hygienist. This person will be responsible for providing quality dental care to patients and assisting the dentist in various procedures.
Your duties will include:
- Conducting oral health assessments and screenings
- Cleaning and scaling teeth to remove plaque and calculus
- Applying fluoride treatments and sealants
- Taking and developing dental x-rays
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Administering local anesthesia when necessary
- Assisting the dentist during procedures
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
Experience : To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and skills:
- Experience in performing vital signs and medical documentation
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, CAD, or Epic
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively in a dental office setting
- Please note that a valid Dental Hygienist license is required for this position.

- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 8am-5pm
- Wednesday - 1pm-6pm
- Friday's -closed
