Salary $37.00 to $40.00 / hr. DOE
Position Summary
Tactical Air is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Representative to join our team and oversee the quality of all products and services that our organization produces supporting the relocation of aircraft, parts, and equipment from Cecil Airport, Jacksonville, FL. Quality Assurance Representative responsibilities include developing quality standards, conducting tests, and identifying issues in producing our products or services. This professional will work towards ensuring safe and seamless operations and is an integral part of a dedicated, elite team that get things done, enjoys working together, and is committed to growing with this fast-moving, high-performance company.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed.
- Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
- Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports.
- Make recommendations for improvement.
- THIS POSITION WILL WORK A 4/10 SCHEDULE, MONDAY-THURSDAY!
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED with 4+ years of work experience in a Quality Assurance role.
- Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance.
- Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards.
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
- Computer literacy in MS Office Suite.
- Database management utilizing custom Excel spreadsheets.
- Possess or the ability to obtain a U.S. Passport.
- Ability to deploy overseas.
- Valid state driver's license.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.

- The ability to consistently identify mistakes across thousands of inspections.
- The ability to closely follow quality standards.
- Decision-making skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Familiar with DCMA Instruction 8210.1C and AS9100
- AS9100 Auditor Certificate
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
Physical Demands
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds (with assistance, if required).
- Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms.
- Regularly ascend/descend stairs and/or ladders.
Work Authorization and Environment
- Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States and complete a U.S. government I-9 Form.
- Tactical Air Support is a Drug & Alcohol-Free Workplace . Pre-employment, random, or for cause drug/alcohol testing (including for marijuana) is required.
- Pre-employment and ongoing physical certifications are required.
- Occasional aircraft hangar or warehouse environment with exposure to loud noises, fumes from engines and chemicals, unpredictable climate (hot/cold), electrical shock, or trip or slip hazards.
- May be exposed to or required to handle hazardous materials.
- Specific work hours are determined by operational, departmental, or contractual requirements.
- Occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime work may be required.
