We are currently interviewing for a Restaurant Manager to join our team! Nights, weekends and holidays are required.

The Restaurant Manager directs Servers, Hosts, Bartenders and Buspersons on table service in assigned station according to restaurant service standards and specifications, courteously and efficiently. Take food and beverage orders when necessary; retrieve and serve food and beverage orders to guests’ tables. Collect payments. Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant/bar area and equipment. Enforce company's standards, policies and procedures with restaurant/bar staff. Schedule and staff based on business needs. Motivate restaurant/bar staff and maintain a cohesive team. Ascertain restaurant/bar staff training needs and provide such training. Ensure security and confidentiality of guest information. Provide guests with excellent experience to ensure satisfaction.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

Ability to:

· Satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding in person and by telephone.

· Provide legible communication

· Basis computer skills

· Compute basic mathematical calculations

· Remain calm under pressure, making sound and logical decisions quickly.

· Possess knowledge of food production and service and have the ability to perform all positions in banquet operations in order to supervise, direct, and train all banquet personnel.

· Be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems, exercising good judgment.

· Focus attention on details

· Warm, friendly and welcoming personality

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school graduate.

· Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.

· Two years’ experience as a server, dining room manager or host.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Food handling certificate

· Some college

· Previous experience as a fine dining server

· Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service

· Previous culinary training

· Knowledge of Computerized P.O.S. systems, preferably Toast

· Previous guest relations training

· Knowledge of reservation system

· Knowledge of events management program
