GENERAL FUNCTION

Oversee the design, implementation as well as maintenance & support of information systems that support the enterprise Network infrastructure of the organization. This includes overseeing North American WAN and LAN, data center, retail stores, distribution center & manufacturing plant communications. Function as a center of excellence lead over network, ensuring all environments meet the standard in support of technology and security.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive strategic initiatives within the Network & Communications environments
• Maintain the stability, availability, & security of the enterprise network
• Coordinate with security, network & systems engineering teams to ensure solutions integrate into the enterprise smoothly, & that supported systems are monitored & maintained
• Provide leadership to ensure clarity between ongoing projects & the strategic objectives of the company
• Collaborate with other leaders, advisors, & partners in the formulation & execution of the Technology strategies, supporting the company's overall business plan
• Supervise & coach the team in the performance of their duties, complete performance reviews & provide feedback
• Communicate with associates & senior management on the vision, strategy & plans for the Technology assigned group
• Advise on complex matters that require expert level knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation
• Provide leadership to design, development, integration & sustainment (break/fix) for system components & associated interfaces in pre- and post-deployment phases
• Develop plans & requirements in support of complex systems as it relates to network architecture, telecommunications, automation, and communications protocols

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or IT or related discipline
• 7+ years of experience leading a Network Services team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Performance management experience of large work groups
• Written, oral & presentation/public speaking communication skills
• Capability to build, mentor & maintain a team-based environment
• Interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate & work effectively
• Commitment to continuous improvement
• Working knowledge of cloud and premised-based architecture

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated experience effectively managing complex projects, budgets, setting & accomplishing goals while managing dynamic priorities
• Demonstrated skill & successful experience in organizational change and transition management
• Ability to explain complex technical projects in easy-to-understand terms to non-technical colleagues
• Retail networking experience a plus

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
