Job description
- Conduct thorough investigations into insurance claims gathering relevant information and documentation.
- Assess the extent of policy coverage and liability to determine the validity of claims.
- Review and analyze insurance policies reports and other relevant documents to determine the scope and validity of claims.
- Evaluate damages and losses to determine accurate settlement amounts.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders claimants and other relevant parties to obtain necessary information and explain the claims process.
- Provide clear and timely updates to all stakeholders throughout the claims resolution process.
- Negotiate settlements in accordance with policy terms ensuring fair and prompt resolutions.
- Collaborate with legal and investigative teams when needed to resolve complex claims.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries concerns and providing support to policyholders throughout the claims process.
- Educate policyholders on coverage and claims procedures as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations company policies and ethical standards.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and updates to enhance job knowledge and performance.
Requirements
- 1 5 years of experience in claims adjusting within the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies coverage and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient in relevant software and claims processing systems.
