ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- To take 27 photos of every used vehicle as soon as it is finished being detailed.
- Verify that every photo is clear and has a retail appeal to it.
- Ensures the order in which every photo is taken is the correct order when the photos are forwarded to the listing vendor to accommodate websites that only post 9 pictures instead of 27 photos.
- Ensures all value-added optional equipment items are photographed in a manner that maximizes the vehicle value.
- Ensure seller's notes include all value-added equipment, and unique features and are written in a way to add value to the vehicle and our store to set us apart from the competition.
- Ensure V-Auto is used to post sellers' notes on every used vehicle and that all sellers notes are uploaded correctly to our listing vendor.
- Ensures vehicles are photographed promptly in order to keep productivity moving in the detail department.
- Ensures all vehicle marketing labels are installed straight and displayed in the right position dictated by the vehicle model.
- Ensures all FTC Buyers Guide labels are the correct buyer's guide and warranty, installed straight, displayed in the right position, which is dictated by the vehicle model and the dealer copy gets filed in the deal jacket daily.
- Review and walk fresh used vehicle inventory daily to pre load vehicle information, gather comments for seller's notes, and ensure the used vehicle flow standards are met.
- Inspects all vehicles to verify the value-added equipment gets added on the vehicle label after a VIN explosion is complete on the vehicle.
- Notifies the used car manager if a vehicle has noticeable damage that is not consistent with our used vehicle standards.
- Assumes responsibility to oversee the care and safeguard all equipment used to do this job. No equipment used to do this job should ever leave here without permission from the general manager.
- Keeps a neat, safe, and clean work area.
- Notify your direct supervisor of broken, missing, or malfunctioning equipment used to do your job.
- Strive for harmony with all departments and employees.
- Keeps an appropriate dress code.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
